I'm in Delhi just now, ready to meet the four rugby chums tomorrow and my sister on Sunday.
I've been so so bad recently at keeping in touch and I'm so sorry. I owe so many of you emails but I'm afraid I'll definately be out until the 20th since I'll be off galavanting with English people for the first (thats a lie, I met up with an old school friend last week but it was only for 1 night) time in 7 months. Bex, Helen, CJ, Turnock, Clowes, Holsy, Harris, Jen, everyone - I know I owe you emails and I promise I will send them when I'm back on my lonesome again.
But just to let you know - I LOVE my new job. My boss is amazing and so supportive and really chucking me in at the deep end so I'm learning loads and really gaining in confidence. I've been there about 5 weeks and have been out of the station about 4 times going to various conferences and meetings. Travel in Gwalior is easy so its proper easy to get to the slums although I've not spent as much time there as I would have liked so I'll rectify that on my return.
Everyone is really nice. I'm living alone (but the bosses daughter should be moving in with me when I'm back) and my landlord and her family are just so sweet. I spend most of my evenings with them (they live upstairs) and they always cook for me and make sure I'm looking after myself well.
And of course, I'm just so fricking excited to see my big sis and my bestest mates. I've not slept properly for about 3 nights now (slightly contributed to by stress from impending report deadlines etc) because I'm so excited, and this morning I had a touch of the weebums because I think my body is just going haywire with anticipation.
I'm gonna head to bed now since I have an early morning of greeting to this wonderful country,
AAAAAAAGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH I can't believe its been 7 months since I left. That's just mental!
