Sorry for the delay in keeping you all up to date Fraser Island is a bit behind the times.
Although it is amazingly beautiful, the first night we got there we indulged in a little of the local karaoke, which was hallarious. The next day it was an early start AGAIn, im gpoing to need another holiday after this one to sleep ive only had one sleep in past 8. Well antway..................................i went on a 4x4 adventure tripo thing through the island we saw the Pan???? sometihin g rock which is made of 7 different coloured sands and the aborigines believed it was only for the women to see and the men were band as it was a fallen rainbow from the sky. We went to eli creek and paddled and swam with the eels the to look at the Japanese ship which is sinking into the sand on the beach. I didnt pay much attention to the history lesson i just wanted to play, lol.
THen the most amazing spot last, Lake McKenzie, a pure fresh water lake, so no peeing in it coz what goes in stays i! It was ao beautiful and safe from sea burglars as it was right in the middle of the island so no fish etc.
I have met the most wonderful people on my travels, especially Rachael (from West Yorkshire, not far from Wakefeild Janey) and Jeneva (from Canada) and i think we are going to stick together.
Had a couple of days just messing around in Fraser Island, enjoying the quiet although i wasnt keeen on the ants in my bed. Saw really big spiders and stuff whilst there, im getting braver and tried to take a picture.
The we went back to the mainland and stayed in Rockhampton.Il update you on that later.
Love you all xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Promise il load pics soon.
