A bit of a cranky day thanks to the Brazilian. But we headed downtown to an eerily quiet Houston, but had a wander around nonetheless. After we felt we had sen a suitable amount of the city (seems like a nice place, perhaps better on a friday or saturday though!) we drove to a shooting range. Here Donna had a go shooting a glock, whilst I took my antigun principles and sat and read about men killing each other with swords in Game of Thrones instead. Apparently her first shot was a kill but it went down hill from there, the gun and reloading of it was very heavy. With her target paper in hand we then set of for the Space Centre. I got to get my Da Vinci geek on as there was an exhibit on his engineering with replicas of his inventions. What a ledge. The other personal highlights were seeing the space toilets, the amazing awkward family photo style pics of the space crews and a video that folowed man's journey into space which I have to say did make me shed a wee tear.
After we were suitably spaced up we hit the road again to Baton Rouge, via a Waffle House for dinner, because we are classy like that.
