Hi All, Today was a big eye opener in L.A. Lucy and I went on a Grand Tour of L.A. We went to Beverly Hills, Rodeo Drive, Hollywood (and saw the sign), Downtown, Venice Beach, Walk of Fame, Sunset Boleuvard, Chinatown, and the Movie Stars Homes. Venice Beach had three species there roaming around: 1. Female 2. Male & 3. What the hell was that????? Hollywood was very busy when we got there as they were having the premiere for the movie 'Ant Bully'. We got to see the Kodak Theatre where the Academy Awards are held, also the ElCapitan Theatre. We saw all the stars names on the walk of fame and had to get a photo with aussie star 'Nicole Kidman'. We saw many film crews around town filming for upcoming movies and saw some of the stars homes, such as Nicolas Cage, Melanie Griffiths, John Candy, Luke Perry and many more. We were on the lookout for celebrities but unfortunetly did not catch any...... We saw where the movie 'Pretty Woman' was filmed at the hotel and where the limo picked her up in the final scene on the balcony. We saw where 'Grease 1' filmed the car race off scene in the drain canal. We saw where 'Speed 1' filmed the opening scene of the bus explosion and where the money was stashed in the bin. We saw the church where 'Sister Act 1' was filmed and also the basketball courts in Venice Beach where they filmed 'White Men Can't Jump'. There is so much to see here all the time. Tomorrow Lucy and I are going to hire some Skates and skate our way up along Venice and Santa Monica Beaches. Miss you all Love Mel xoxox
