We arrived in Bariloche after the previously mentioned hellish bus journey at ten in the morning and decided that as we were rushing through Bariloche we needed to make the most of it.
Highlights:
The views from the 25 km bike tour, Bariloche has beautiful lakes and mountains and this was definitely the nest way to see them all.
The hostel, 41 below is fab and we met some really nice people there, who all were travelling for longer than us and making us jealous.
Awkward moments:
The length of our 'small bike circuit'. 25 km on mountaineous landscape was not cool. Even more embarrassing when we had to stop after the first km to rest... legs = aching, bum =aching, thoughts = should have done the bus tour!
So after our brief stop off we were back on the road to Mendoza with promises of wine fabulous food.
A much needed day at the thermal baths in the mountains was incredible, good scenery and lots of sunbathing! The wine tour, travelling round Mendoza's wineries and sampling all of their prize produce. I'm pretty sure I say this everytime but the food! Amazing steak and sausages to celebrate our last meal in Argentina. Desperately needing a needle and thread, looking for one everywhere unsuccessfully and then having a street seller bring one to your table randomly at supper that evening!
Awkward moments: STILL not being able to hablas espanol well enough to understand the lady at the baths wishing us a good day... I'm sure we were just tired? Pulling up alongside a bus marked w***a tourism' , with it's south American occupants strolling proudly out. Yes, immature but still funny! Sharing a dorm with some israeli boys with seriously poor hostel etiquette... They got 'tutted'... that showed them. This marked the end of our stay in Argentina and we moved on to our breif stop in Chile! Thanks so much for the comments, they are much appreciated. Hope you are all well xxxx

Sallie Blanks Hi darling, More moments to make everyone back home very envious indeed! I really sympathise over the aching limbs after the cycling - it was very brave of you to even dream of cycling around the mountains but think of the calories expended! As for the lingo, I thought it was all Bore Da in Patagonia (Welsh for good morning in case you didn't recognise it)? Clearly you were not at home in either tongue. Glad your middle class methods of demonstrating disapproval are serving you well. Miss you loads, love hearing the news. take care, aml xx
