Macklen's Euro Trip
**There were not any pics available for Berlin...so I chose a beautiful scene...we didnät get to see mountains fyi... Today was a travel day. We woke up got some free breakfast = ham and cheese sandwiches, cereal, yogurt with granola, juices and milks, varietz of cookies-breads...it was amazing! we felt like royalty!!! i love to eat, so this was great! brandon..I ate all of my food for once!!! okay, so then we got on the amsterdam tram and took it to the train station where we caught the 7 hour train to berlin. we travelled through some really beautiful countryside, i saw the most beautiful rainbow...it was touching down on this amazing green pasture filled with black and white milk cows. so, the ride was long, but i just read my book, wrote in my journal, and organized the rest of my trip connections. communication became more difficult when we crossed over into the german border...a lot of garbled english, and no one in my group speaks german, so it is a challenge...but this is what i was looking for, so I was excited! We arrived in the center of berlin, after I asked many questions to the locals about what stop to get off on, etc...because the train conductor announced the stop we needed to get off on was closed, but he did not do it in english. this was strange because all of the other announcements had been in german, dutch, french, and english. anzwazs, we made it to our hostel...just around the corner from the Metro, and reallz centrally located within west berlin. tomorrow is our adventure day when we will go see the different musuems, galleries, and look about the town! i am off to bed, need to be rested for tomorrow. I love you all and think of you every day! -mack, mackie, diesel, doodle, bubble toes, scrubbles, macattack, etc.
