So I find myself in San Jose, reflecting on my mission as the 'Yes women'. It was here in San Jose that I set myself the challenge of becoming the 'Yes women', as inspired by the book the 'Yes man' by Danny Wallace. So how has the mission gone I hear you ask?
Well, as you can see ive seen so many places and meet so many people and had so many amazing experiences that the mission can only be seen as a total success!!! Ive learnt that by simply saying 'YES' to life it can lead to so many varied experiences. By opening yourselve up to life you are letting yourself explore what life is all about; living life to the fullest and exploring the true essense of life and in doing so exploring ones own path.
Thus on reflection of my travels so far, I am honoured and privileged to have the opportunity to follow my dream and explore the world. In doing so, ive explored not only different countries, but different cultures, opening my eyes to the varying social diversities and the varying levels of poverty and varying levels of ways of lives within different communities.
Ive have never consided myself affluent by any means, but the fact that I was born into a comparatively affluent country that gave me the opportunity to gain a high level of education and subsequently obtain employment which allowed me to earn enough money to fullfill my dreams to travel the world. For this fact I am truelly thankful.
Thus at the end of the second chapter of my journey I feel privileged and honoured to have had this opportunity and I fully appreciate it and do not take any of it for granted. I will carry on my travel with an open mind and eyes wild open to full appreciate and continue to explore and discover what life is all about.
With all this in mind, I am looking forward to the next chapter of my journey. South American HERE I COME.......!!!!!!!!
