Today was the first day that we got to spend in CinqueTerre. We started the day by meeting our tour guide Marco that would be taking us on a 9 hour hike throught the 5 little towns of CinqueTerre. It was the best hiking conditions.. hot muggy weather. The view definately made up for the hotness througout the day. It was strange how the hiking trail would go from just a rocky path to straight up walking on the edges of cliffs. We had the best view in the world for lunch according to marco. Once we were done with our hike, we had time to spend in the town of Monterosa before we headed back to the hostel for the night. The towns that we walked through literally looked like they were just out of a post card. The bright coloring of the buildings against the clear blue water is just breathtaking. We ended our day early because on day 2 we had a whole other day of hiking left.
