It's dangerous having a shopping centre within your hotel complex!!

Today started with Mum and I going for a little wander through the Crown complex (which consists of three hotels - the Crown Promenade where we're staying, the towers and the metropol, as well as a casino, shops, cinema.... to be honest, there I can't think of anything this place hasn't got!)
After buying a couple of tops, we walked a little more and found ourselves on the promenade right beside the Yarra river. After a brief stop there we made our way back to the room, dropping off the shopping then headed back down to the lobby to meet Auntie Kath and make our way to Flinders Lane for lunch with Kirstin, Chris, Ryan and the adorable Erin.

Ryan and Kirstin had decided on Chin Chin for lunch, which was AMAZING!!!! We ordered a whole variety of food to share between us all, crab, duck, curries, pad thai - talk about an afternoon of eating incredible food!! And of course made even better being able to catch up with the family!

After returning to the hotel we joined Auntie Kath in her room and decided we felt like a little treat to finish off the afternoon/evening, so Mövenpick ice cream for me, crumble for Auntie Kath and a cheeseboard for Mum!

Then Mum and I finished off the afternoon the way we started - MORE SHOPPING! Got to be done when you're in the shopping capital!!
