I love that around every corner in Melbourne there is something new to see and explore!
Today started off with a visit to the National Gallery of Victoria (Shona, you will be very pleased we did this!) to see Monet's Garden: The Musée Marmottan Monet, Paris. Today was the first day it was showing, so of course we were one of the first there!!!
Next stop was to make our way to Chadstone Mall, so after a little bit of a wait at the taxi stand we had our ride - Con was our driver (he told us his middle name was "Man".) He was hilarious, and told us about all the sights we were passing along the way.
We arrived at Chadstone, which is HUGE!! We didn't even see half of it (we may need another visit!) after a little lunch together we split up to do our "shopping missions" - 2 pears of jeans, a top, and some boots later, we met up again and headed back to the hotel for some R&R, then Mum headed out for a light dinner at Bistro Guillaume, and a little more light shopping (why not, we are in Melbourne!)
