Hi all,

Not much to add from the other day, as haven't really explored Perth yet, (my sister told me I wasn't allowed to leave the house until she arrived!) other than the shopping malls!

Just thought I would let you know about my next injury - I seem to be writing about a new one with each entry now. Well I have had a bite on my back for about 2 weeks, which I think I got in Langkawi, Malaysia, though I couldn't be sure. Anyway since it has been there, it has been continuosly itchy, then in the last 2/3 days it has started to get worse and has blistered; not very pleasant.

Finally went to the doctors today, who told me it was a spider bite (yuk!) and, yep, I am back on anti-biotics again...shame they are not as cheap as in Asia! Some people may have returned to the UK by now what with spider bites, elephantitis of the foot (Michelle is that actually a thing?), BK signs shattering on your legs and nearly falling on your head etc, but not me...when I return I shall be proud to show off my war wounds....namely bite scars, which aren't as hard or as impressive as actual war wounds I guess, but I can pretend!

Thank heaven I didn't see the thing when it bit me though...I would have freaked. I wasn't too shocked at the doctors; I'd prepared myself and thought she was going to tell me I had some sort of wormy thang living under my skin, so a bite wasn't too bad news! Still I live to tell another tale!

Juli and I are putting the Christmas Decorations up tomorrow, which I can't wait to do and then the day after my nephew (oh and Jan, my sister, Paul, her husband, and my Mum!) come to join us from the UK. Can't wait.

The pool is looking good now, just need a new filter and some hot weather (honestly it has been rather cold here, nothing like England of course, but I've had to wear jumpers and my tan is going damn it!) and then it will be good to go. Bet I'm first in.
