I got a lovely 13 hour bus from Cuzco to nazca and had the joy of sitting next to a man who thought he was important enough to take up some of my seat- he wasn't! On arrival to nazca the bus touts come running up trying to sell you on to a tour or a hostel but as this is incredibly annoying I just went off and found my own little hostel instead!
Incredibly productive day! Started off getting picked up at 8am for a flight over the nazca lines which was fantastic albeit a little expensive! We say the frog, dog, monkey, humming bird and loads more and luckily no-one was sick!
Had some lunch at a great chifa place where I got soup and a huge main and a drink for £2.50!
That afternoon I went out with an American couple and we rented a taxi for the day! First we went to cemetery of chauchilla which was cool but kinda creepy seeing so many mummies and bones out within the valleys! We then went on to the aqueducts which are still in use now! We also went to some ruins and were really lucky as our taxi drivers also decided to be our tour guide and tell us all about the sites we were seeing which was a massive bonus!
That evening we got some delicious food of stuffed chicken with an avocado sauce! For now it is time to sleep as I leave for huacachina in the morning!
