We flew into Chengdu from Guilin as it was a 36 hours train ride! Chengdu was a big city (Chinas 5 most populous city, the greater metropolitan area has 13 million people!) wasn't a fan off the town nor the smog! After 1 train from Hong Kong to Guangzhou, an overnight train to Guilin and an 1 1/2 hour bus ride we made it to Yangshuo! Yangshuo was a town surrounded by countryside and the Li River! Stunning!
