The place we planned to stay in was full so we hiked around and found a guesthouse on the canal, cheap but adequate (we actually saw a crocodile behind our guesthouse) We stayed close to the Khoa San road area which is very central and close to all the excitement. Public Ferry to Koh Mac was a couple hours and we were picked up by Big Easy staff. Lovely beach and rented motorcycles for a day. Found a great sunset beach and decided to move to a new resort, Lazy Day. Amazing in everyway! Did a day long snorkel trip to a marine park, met some interesting people and met some of them for dinner at a Swiss/Thai restaurant in the middle of the island. Monday morning we travel to Bangkok. Last stop before heading home.

Our '6 hour' trip from Siem Reap to Koh Chang started with a bus trip to the Cambodian border which was great, clearing customs was slow and then the delays began. Got into Luang Prabang and searched for a guesthouse, found one for $10, one for $20 and one for $30. The girls opted for the $30 and it's nice. Hit an alley with street vendors and got dinner and a beer for under $2 each, you could live cheap here!! Did all the normal tourist stuff in LP, temples, shops, markets and cafes.
