Our '6 hour' trip from Siem Reap to Koh Chang started with a bus trip to the Cambodian border which was great, clearing customs was slow and then the delays began. The longest was sitting in a road side stand for a couple hours waiting for what we thought was a "luxury" bus. It never came! We were one of the first people loaded into a mini van and headed south towards the ferry. It was a long HOT day arriving at our Koh Chang bohemian guest house 7:00 ish. The 6 hour trip took 12 hours but it only cost $20 so it's tough to complain.
Larry ordered a whole fish for dinner which was entertaining to watch him eat. We rented motor cycles for a couple days and enjoyed cruising the entire island, finding remote beaches and markets. It's such a thrill to swim in the sea and enjoy the ocean sunsets.
Next we're heading to Koh Mak which is a smaller less developed island.
