30 Jun 2023 - Luna Park
- First thing, off to Woollies Meto to get some supplies for breakfast & back to the accommodation
- Then off to Luna Park, caught the tram (96) to St Kilda (Luna Park), arriving a bit after 11 am
- Spent the day on rides! Unfortunately, the scenic rollercoaster was closed for maintenance, but we went on all the thrill rides multiple times! The rides were generally short, if not nonexistent - which was great.
- Ethan had 5 turns on the carnival games ("winning" a couple of fish plush toys, a shark, a slinky & a slapping hand).
- While the park is a bit tired, the rides were enjoyable - all be it, we both didn't feel great by the end of the day. Operators were very thorough with the safety process.
- Ethan really enjoyed the Pharaoh's Curse (get swung 360).
- Certainly, the biggest waste of time that had the longest wait was the Ghost Train - the ride goes for perhaps 1-2 min and is very underwhelming (as warned on the sign, "it might be cheesy") - truly terrible without question the worst ride we have ever been on…
- The rides we went on were (Supernova, Pharaoh's Curse, Ghost Train, Enterprise, Coney Drop, Twin Dragon, Dodgems, Spider, The Power Surge, and the Carousel - we had to do this once…). Fortunately, we managed to get on the Supernova, as most of the day it ended up being closed (due to very light rain).
- Ended up being the last to leave the park!
- Caught the tram back to Melbourne - while we both didn't end up wanting to eat dinner, we went to Woollies and got some hot food (roast chicken & crumbed chicken strips). After leaving, we realised we didn't have any veggies… but decided we would survive - so we had a few grapes after our meat to balance out the nutrition…
- Watched some YouTube to finish off the day

Makayla You haven’t had any salad; grapes don’t count as they’re fruit not vegetables. Makayla
Jill/Nanna Wow, another full day of experiences. Expect you will enjoy veggies tomorrow! Jill/Nanna & Norm/Grandad.
