- Quieter day today, off to Breakfast around 8 am.
- Pickup washing then got a taxi to Dino Golf (45 min south along the coast/along some of the hills). Was good to get to see the west side of the island. The area our accommodation is in is reasonably quiet, so good to see the area. There are a lot of cannabis shops on the island (interesting, it is recreationally illegal…, but medicinally permitted since 2022 - clearly a lot of "medical" need!)
- Dino Golf was very impressive. The setting and animatronics were exceptional. It was an 18-course mini-golf—the golf was reasonably normal, but the setting and the number of moving dinosaurs were incredible. We got a bit wet at one stage when it rained (and we were unfortunately between caves, with there being a number of holes set within caves).
- Ethan did get a bit over the heat and the golf, but did enjoy it. I thoroughly enjoyed the setting, and it was by far the best setup minigolf when it comes to theming I have ever seen.
- We had lunch at the adjacent Dino restaurant; the Thai food I got was great (Chicken stir fry thing), but the pizza Ethan got wasn't so great.
- Walked along the beach. Quite wavy/choppy (flags indicating it is not safe to swim).
- We caught a taxi back to the accommodation and booked activities for tomorrow of taking a catamaran to some islands and canoeing. Then Carnival Magic in the evening.
- Played in the pool for a few hours.
- Took long walk along the beach (saw a snake on the beach on the way). Ethan enjoyed running, jumping, digging & leaving a trail.
- Found a bar doing a fire show so came back, got drinks & chips here to watch the show. It was impressive; biggest hand-held fire launch I've seen. The show included coming into the crowd and waving fire over us!
- Walked back to the accommodation, had planned to go out to get more dinner, but both not that Hungry, so decided to order room service (pizza to share and fruit). So we played rage on the balcony while waiting for dinner, and after. We also got an impromptu fireworks show we could see from our balcony that was happening on the beach.
