- Had a quieter day.
- Up at 7:45 am & had breakfast (included) at the resort.
- We dropped some laundry off down the road and got some more suncream (after accidentally taking it through airport security & having to throw it out). We took a short walk around that area, which is a reasonably quiet area with a large boxing academy.
- Back at the hotel, we hung out & played in the pool for a few hours. Rained a bit while in the pool.
- Played mini golf at a place next door to the resort. As it rained on and off we stopped for drinks & lunch between holes (18 holes).
- Back to accommodation, I got a coffee from the beachside café. The coffee was good (Starbucks, much better than the one in Singapore). It is very pleasant weather by this time to sit beachside and have coffee.
- We noticed Jet Skiing was happening next to us, so we inquired about it and decided to give it a go (me driving Ethan behind/hanging on). We went out for 30 minutes. This was a lot of fun. It was quite wavey, especially out deeper. We were flying and jumping over waves (up to 70 kmph on a 1,100 CC jet ski—not sure if this is powerful or not…). Ethan managed to hang on well! It was a bit difficult to drive with very loose steering and the waves, until going fast, but we had a lot of fun. 30 min was about right time, getting saw legs by this stage having to brace to jump waves all the time. Uploaded video going about 50% speed at max.
- After the Jet Ski, we went into the pool for a few hours (well, I went in for about an hour, got out, and Ethan stayed in for another hour).
- Walked along the beach and found another beach restaurant, very good and very reasonable prices again.
- After dinner, we went for a walk along the beach and saw a lot of small crabs on the beach (mini ones which moved incredibly fast and larger hermit shell ones).
- Back at the accommodation, played Rage.
- Going to Andamanda Phuket (water park) tomorrow (reasonably new, only 2 years old).
