The Camera is FIXED

Hello everyone ,It has taken me so long to get the photos done for you I do not have time to do the blog to go with them . So this will be a very quick version .The photos of Emily were when I first bought the camera . Then it broke but we are now back in action and should be able to send many more from now on .

I have just returned from 4 days in Little Rock Arkansas on a Fulbright Fall Meeting to have some sight seeing and to iron out some issues that have arisen . All very succesfull and am sure all problems have been overcome .

The sight seeing was really good and I think explained in the photos . The race issue at Central High where 9 black students attended an all white school in the 50's was really interesting .

And of course yours truly had to find out what some of the locals got up to on a saturday night ! I managed to persuade 3 of the Fulbrighters to come to the Electric Cowboy .A bit like The Junction in Dumfries!!!! Well there were real cowboys with hats and boots line dancing . Guess who joined them !!!! Only I had no Hat and flip flops on . Then the wee girl came round with test tubes filled with shots .10 different kinds . I had the orange one named after the club . Gillian your mum was up there . Now I know where you get your sense of fun on a night out . Tee Hee

Anyway enough of that for now . Flight home was cancelled . Bag was lost . Got home 1am eventually and my boss told me to take next day off which I duly did . Boy was I tired .It was a good weak-end but a lot packed in .Got my bag back next day so all turned out well .

I again want to thank you for all the e-mails . I know I am not getting back to you individually but it is great to hear from you .So keep em coming .
