Lovewells vs The World
Legoland was awesome! The first thing we did was the driving school. The cars looked like they were Made of Lego, and you had to obey the road signs. The cars were a bit slow though. Then we did boat school, and I crashed...a lot! Dad was distracting me! Next stop was the laser shooting, which was fun, but Dad is crazy about shooting and won because he shot over the rest of us!!! Then we went through Miniland and saw lots of famous Asian landmarks, including a mini Singapore. There were lots of things to press to make things move or to shoot water to cool you down, as well as fans everywhere and mist sprayers, because boy it was hot! Then...Dinosaur Island. Mum promised she would do it so she had to. We meandered round a river where we saw lots of Lego dinosaurs, then We went up a steep ramp, the. Into a tunnel where a T. rex was going to attack us, so we "blew up" the cave to escape and plummeted down the waterfall...car -splash! We got soaked! Loved it and did it two more times. After that we did a train mini coaster that was quite fast. And After that we went on the jousting ride which was fun as the horses galloped along and when you went past it hit the target. Next stop for me was the dragon, a roller coaster. This started slowly through Lego sculptures, but when it emerged outside, it went extremely fast. Great fun, had to be repeated! Then we will went through a gigantic Lego Star Wars exhibition which was interactive, when you pushed buttons it came to life. The models were amazingly detailed and must have taken ages to build. From there ( after almost going into the weird squatting toilets by mistake...don't ask...) we headed to to the technics Jet skis, where you whizzed around avoiding water bombs and cannons - but we liked getting wet actually! I did the Lego technic project x roller coaster, it was very speedy with big drops to make you lose your stomach....but it wasn't as scary as the dragon ride. At the end I got a Taylor Swift limited edition ice cream! And a slushy because I wanted the cool drink bottle it came in :) Over all, Legoland was an exhilarating experience, and I would like to go to it in California and Denmark, so I can say I've been to all of them ( I already did Windsor when I was 5) Gemma Ok so Legoland was brilliant and exciting. I stayed away from the roller coasters which looked too fast, but I found the mini coaster and that was great, really fast too! Mum and I did lots of new things, and mum said I did things she never expected me to do, and that I was getting brave in my old age! We went on the dinosaur island log flume, it was EXTREME and that's an under exaggeration. I got soaked. Another under exaggeration. We did it two more times because it was epic! Then We went in the person dryer for a bit because some kind people let us share. We also did the Beetle bounce which was hilariously crazy. You went up high then it dropped us just a bit and made us bounce, and did that again and again, with the bouncing getting higher and higher, but I did not lose my stomach...but mum did! Another ride that s absolutely crazy s the kids power tower. You pulled yourselves up by a rope, then let go and it belayed you down. Didn't lose my stomach on that either...but mum did! We always heard people screaming on the rides, especially the coasters and the log flume... Oh hang on, that was me screaming!!! My favourite ride of the day was definitely the dinosaur island log flume. At the Lego store there was lots of Lego to choose from. I decided on a Lego creator 3 in 1 jet that I hadn't seen before, and it is awesomeness in a box. Legoland is definitely the best place you could ever go. If you haven't been to Legoland, you should DEFINITELY go there. Daniel Legoland is in Malaysia so we Changed country In a bus. More stamps in our passport and the 6th country we have gone to on this trip. Thanks Mum and Dad for taking us to Legoland Malaysia!!! Xoxox Gemma and Daniel We didn't get back until late, about 7pm, so we're a bit mucked up time wise! The kids had a quick sleep in the bus, so when we got back we Spent a little time building Lego in the room (while dad power napped). Then we headed out for a night walk and the free daily light show, which was incredible - they put up a "screen" of water and projected onto it, as well as lights, lasers and music. An impressive 15 minutes! Then we walked around the marina Bay Area, seeing all the lights and the famous Merlion fountain. We got back to our room after 9, and very hot, so headed up to the pool for a night swim and another perspective on the lights, stunning. Had our "last night of holiday" cocktails in the pool...nice!!! Getting back to our room after 10pm, time for another room service dinner (again, why wouldn't you...this room is amazing!) and Asian feast. Delicious! The kids chilled out on our mega balcony while they waited for it to arrive. Managed to get the kids in bed by 11.30, Glen just after midnight, and 1pm for me. Ah well, lucky we are on holiday! A big day, again, but ticked everyone's boxes I think. Robyn
