Thanks for my message grandad, I can't promise that this will be my last trip though! However I am just as safe as when i'm in Bristol, so don't worry :-)

I've been to Nusa dua today which is right down south, about 30 mins in a cab from Legian/Kuta area. It's a massive water sports beach, so I've had great fun! I'm hopefully having a surfing lesson tomorrow on Kuta beach.

Whilst I was in Lovina I met an English girl who isout here doing research, she'sonly 19 and is a bit worried about being on her own, so I've arranged for her to come and stay with me on the 3rd Aug for a couple of days until she goes back to England.

After that, hopefully I'll hook up with some people who want to go over to the island of Lombok and also go to the 3 Gilli islands for a few days too.

P.S Mum/Dad - I didn't come down Mount Batur on a tin tray but it would have been easier to - I did slip a few times and let out a whoop whoop each time which made loads of people laugh!
