We were considering Disney today, but by the time we were all ready to get going we realized it would still be too crowded, so we decided to visit Sea World.
Due to our previous experiences driving around Orlando getting lost, we knew exactly where to go - 30 minutes later we were pulling up in the car park.
Turned out it was the perfect place to visit today - the weather has started to cool (temperatures as low as 1degree Celsius predicted for tonight) and the numbers were not too busy. We were able to get into all the shows and never had to wait very long for any of the rides. Sweet!
Matty was disappointed to learn he was a mere inch too short to ride the Manta roller coaster (much to my relief).
We have of course been to the local Gold Coast Sea World at home, and this was similar - but bigger, naturally.
We saw a sea lion / otter show; a killer whale show; and a dolphin / beluga whale? (Not sure what type of whale) show, complete with performers on the trapeze and exotic birds. It was like Cirque du Soleil with the added risk of drowning! All three shows were fabulous.
We came home happy but tired and ready to have an early night, ready for more adventures tomorrow!
