Morning peeps!

Yesterday was an amazing day. After meeting up with Charlie on Friday night in a bar, he and his housemate invited us to go on boat around the Harbour as one of his friends had dropped out at the last min and they could sell us two tickets for half price ....... IT WAS AMAZING!

We sailed out of the Harbour, under Harbour bridge and then past the Opera house and bobbed about for a bit before casting anchor just off shore of a little beach. We then proceeded to jump from the boat into the lovely cold water. Lucy and I went down the ladders first and swam to shore, then I was a little braver and just jumped backwards off the boat - think suicidal lemming. We met some really lovely people and just chatted and sipped wine for a couple of hours. Then came the BBQ! LUSH! Chicken Kebabs, burgers, hotdogs, king prawns, potato salad (made by Charlie), chips and dips, cookies, grapes, mini-eggs and strawberries! We then tootled around a bit more and before we knew it, 4 hours had past and we had to head back to the Harbour. Rubbish!

It was such an amazing day and Lou is really conquering her fears - swimming in open water was brilliant and I wish I could do it everyday.

We are off to New Zealand tomorrow. I fell ready for the next adventure. Sydney has won me over a little bit more and if there was more of an art scene here then it is definately a place I could see myself living.

So, we are hoping to stay with firends in NZ, so we will update you all when we get the chance.
