So it was our last week in Kununurra and we decided we wanted to have some memorable experiences........We were lucky enough to be in town for the arrival of Peewee Ferris, aussies top DJ and producer. We had an amazing night out dancing to his latest tunes and some classy old school numbers at the local bar (turned into a club for the evening). We were even luckier to be invited back to an after party at Kentons house where we mingled with this top DJ celebrity! We danced the night away til 6am where we had to then head to work with sore heads.
Having got over the excitement of this weekend we were then advanced with 2 free tickets to see a famous Irish/Aussie comedian who had also come to town - Jimeoin! He humoured us all at the local country club whilst we sat on mattresses in an empty swimming pool at the front of the stage. We huddled under sleeping bags on mattresses kenton had provided for us and enjoyed being in the front of house seats which provided jimeoin plenty of material as we became the butt of his jokes for the rest of his audience.
So a great time had in Kununurra but were now glad to have moved on to Darwin where we can relax and be travellers again.
