Round the World with Lou & Jo
From Coral bay we camped at Karratha for a night then 80 mile beach to break up the journey to Broome.
In Broome we stayed on a 4 star camp site in Cable Beach (one of the top 5 beaches in the world) We went to the worlds oldest open air cinema to watch Walk the Line, a story about Johnny Cash. The next night we watched the FA cup final down the Divers Tavern where the team we supported lost...much to the joy of the local auzzies.
The next day, with a cracking hangover, we spent the day on Cable beach basking and swimming, Basking and swimming....it was THAT HOT!
From here we wanted to get to Kununurra a 1200km journey. To break it up again we headed to Fitzroy crossing and Halls Creek. These were little towns with lots of Aboriginals and therefore one night was enough....
