Ice ice baby! Today we trekked up the Athabasca glacier. Once again we were lucky with the weather not a cloud in sight! To the reach the glacier we first had to drive up the road named ice fields parkway, which is renowned as being one of the most scenic drives in the world. It defiantly lived up to that reputation! It even managed to out do all our other drives so far - which we thought would take some doing - we were wrong! So far the scenery on this trip ...

Exploring jasper! Today we headed south out of jasper. It was another beautiful drive, it seems you can't drive anywhere In Canada without your camera clicking away! Our first stop was maligne canyon, which seemed to be bottomless as you peered over the edge into the darkness. The milky blue river vanishes down out of sight but you can hear the roar of rushing water and feel the spray! We followed the river down its course of waterfalls each one was spectacul...

Into the wild! Another epic drive in 'big foot' our RV into Jasper national park. We left the crazy town of blue river and headed on up the Yellowhead highway to the real mountains! The drive to jasper had a real back-to- nature feel and with every corner we turned there was a new sight to gaze at in wonder. Our favourite was the sight of Mt Robson which towers like a misplaced Everest over the surrounding peaks and valleys. The rugged giant is just shy of 130...
