hello!
greetings from Sydney. We left Canberra for here about a week ago, and checked into this amazing campsite in the Lane Cove National Park, were surrounded by flaming gallahs, green ticks (one of which found its way into my arm, eugh) and rather mahussive spiders (cue me and alice terrorising dave with one on a stick, albeit a dead one). so yes, really picturesque! we had the easter weekend which was a bit dull as nowhere was open and the weather was rainy and dull. not good when your camping. we made the time fly by however by drawing some impressive tatoos on each other (i did a very lifelike Koala holding a union jack on dave's leg, very trans continental). went into sydney when we arrived, went to an amazing bar called the Argyle, which is just how i would have a bar, very funky. also had a good walk around city and botanic gardens nearly freaked out when the bats came out at twilight tho, theyre huuuggeeee! walked the harbour bridge yesterday which was very cool, tho the jumpsuits werent very attractive and you have to have everything attached to yourself in case anything falls onto the traffic below, so that meant my glasses were strapped to my face. unfortunately the others didnt have the funds to do the walk but im glad i did it was really exhilarating and views were amazing. afterwards, i met up with the others and we went to watch the sunset over the opera house which was stunning. today we're off to bondi beach for a bit of lazing around and doing the museum and art galleries in sydney tomorrow before moveing on to the Blue Mountains for a bit of hiking (gulp) and admiring of wildlife. its amazing here, i have breakfast with multi coloured parrots and share toilets with huge spiders! ok maybe thats not so cool!
til later,Lxxxx
