hi everyone! sorry this has been a bit slow, did write an entry in melbourne (as per the pictuer) but my internet crashed, oops!! yup, ive been here for a week now, and were already in Canberra, or Can-Berra as we have come to call it. its been torturously hot in Melbourne, around 39, 40C but much cooler here!

first things first, arrived in Melbourne having lost my sleeping bag (d'oh!!) about 2 hours late due to the awful weather in UK where theyd cancelled 36 flights. looong flight but talked to a girl on the Hong Kong flight to Melbourne who was originally from Brighton (small world!) and she recommeneded lots of things to do which was cool. Alice Dave and Dan came and got me and off we went to camp site, had some celebratory champers and slept. didnt feel jet lagged which was good! next night went out in Melbourne and had a few beverages in lots of bars, went to the Lounge which was really fun, tho fell over and hurt my knee and had a whinge, as you know i like to when a little drunk (sorry, mum and dad!!). we also managed to drop Steve, our stuffed crocodile mascot off the balcony, tho luckily he was returned by a man walking underneath, heehee! we did the melbourne aquarium which was fab, saw them feeding the rays and sharks, went to immigration museum where me and alice found entertainment in the kids area cutting and sticikng little paper people on a wall to promote international erlations or something. basically, shiny paper and pritt stick were involved so we had fun! we went on the trams, visited the jail where ned kelly was hung (we tried to get them to take alice but they wouldnt) adn it was just SOOOO hot!!! moved campsite to Franklin, just down the coast which was nice, they had a good pool, but i did get savaged by the evil mosquitos. we've been cooking up some healthy grub and im getting slightly tanned day after day, tho the lady on the neighbours tour kept telling me specifically to get out of the sun (im so pale!!). yes we did the neighbours tour, met the guy who plays declan who was quit nice adn a little bit cute, heehee, and he signed out postcards. we had a tour around some of the set, like the garage adn grease monkeys and went to the actual street, so cool!! we stole some lemons from the tree outside the Kennedy house as a souvenier, thyre currently sitting in the camper's cup holders, thyre called Lou and Harold.

well thats it for the moment, but we'll be in Canberra for 2 days, then off to sydney, prob stopping somewhere on way, we have yet to decide!
