So Boomtown is done and dusted. Closing night was on Sunday, swiftly followed by the bump out. Having not much to bump out, I decided that many hands would make light work and helped out with the set bump out. Yes, I couldnt do much in the way of lifting etc as I more than likely would have fallen apart (arm drop off etc), but I did my bit by taking down posters and cutting down the waterproffing. That was a long day. 7am-11.30pm. Definately tired by the end of it.
Helped out the next day with taking off padding and saftey tape that was stuck round the scaff, as well as packing and helping move stuff back to the camp ready to be packed up. Went for a lovely dinner with the left over team before hitting the hay for an early start back to Brissie.
The show seemed to go down really well with the community and the cast had a cracking turn out each night. Everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves and had a very memorable experience.
For me, I think i learnt more about myself and how I have progressed as a professional and how my confidence had grown in my role.
What now? Get some sleep under my belt, catch up with people and figure out where I am going to next!!!! I think Uluru needs to been done sooner rather than later as it'll
