Today we are in transit - taking the train from Barcelona to Figueres, from Figueres to Montpellier, then from Montpellier to Nice! It's about a 9 hour journey all up, but it's beautiful riding on the train, watching the amazing Spanish & French countryside pass us by. I must say I'm rather relieved to be heading back to France where my linguistic skills are a little more satisfactory…having only spent a week in Spain there really wasn't much time to gras...

Yesterday Kelly & I gave our legs a work out with a whole lot of walking! First we stopped by the Sagrada Familia - Gaudi's famous creation that is still under construction. It's unlike anything else I've seen in Europe. Very unusual architecture & decorative style. We spent about 5 minutes walking around the whole thing to find the end of the line of people queuing up to get inside before deciding we would be satisfied with admiring it from the outside...

Had the most wonderful day today with the lovely Miss Kelly Venables! Kelly & I worked together at the Body Shop for about a year a little while back before she moved over to Ireland to work.
