Yesterday was another long travel day. I took the train from Nice to Ventimiglia, Ventimiglia to Genova, Genova to La Spezia, & finally La Spezia to Riomaggiore. It's kinda hard to believe it's almost a month since I left Australia…my how time flies! Have had a wonderful time the past few days & managed to get out & about to see a bit more of the southern coast of France. On Friday I set out for Monaco early in the morning, but after having already purchased a train ticket I found I could see no trains scheduled until the evening. Kelly flies back to Ireland today, & I will be very sad to see her go :( We are planning on getting her a taxi to the airport & hoping that the taxi driver will be able to help her to the check in desk with her bags, as she can't carry anything on her back right now. I woke up early this morning, determined to get out & see Nice after having spent most of the previous day perusing the local hospital! I went down for breakfast (which is included at our hotel - oh my goodness, could it get any more amazing??), and oh my goodness…more raptures! More delight!
