Day FIVE- 'subsea explorer, snorkelling, sunsets and sleeps. A day of s's.
So I didn't really have any plans for today just a bit of a rest and got a tour with the Manta Rays for Thursday. A lot of people here go to dive with the Whale Sharks. The elusive mammals frequent the ningaloo marine oark between May and June but little is known about them. But i wanted to swim with the manta rays more and they have always been my passion! The trip also included a trip on a glass bottom boat tour though the reef here this afternoon, so i jumped at the chance to learn a bit more about the fishes here and the corals. 2 girls from our room at the hoste were also on the trip-Mathilde and Emmanuel so i wasn't too much alone.
The tour went around the reef and I got to see lots of fish and all the beautiful corals withou getting wet!We then stopped off for a snorkel in quite a deep bit of water. I was on my own paddling around and got a bit scared that something big might eat me, so i cut the snorkel short and hopped back on the boat. After a quick coffee with emmanual and Mathilde I popped back to the beach for a big snooze and to watch the sunset. The sunsets on the West Coast are absolutely stunning.
I accidently fell asleep tonight at 8pm! Missing out on the beach parties all this travelling is taking its toll. Looking very much forward to swimming with the majetic manta's tomorrow! Whoo
