Wow... well what can i say?! Again Wednesday morning looked cloudy and dull, the weather said freak thunder storms but I piped up and said i wanted to go Rottnest anyway and that we would be fine! lol!
Well if anyone knows me... lissy and boats arent good friends, i was being brave, a 30 minute boat ride to Rottnest with the chance of thunder and rain, big waves and a jippy tummy, what was i thinking eh?
Well... my positive thinking paid off because the day was flipping beautiful.
We landed at Rottnest Island (not green in the face , thank goodness) and as soon as we got there we were in heaven! It was a beautiful blue, hot day. We lounged around on the beach and dipped our toes in the sea. Joe decided he wanted to try and catch a fish by hand... which didnt work, obviously, so then we went for a wonder around the island and found beautiful places to take snap shots, like the one above. We found another area of the island with lots of expensive boats anchored up, and discussed how much we thought they cost and therefore why we couldnt have one lol
4.30pm came around really quickly and we had to head back to Fremantle, otherwise we would have been stranded there till the next day (what a shame eh?) but no, being the goodies that we are, we trotted back to boat and got back to Fremantle 30 mins later... again with no sick involved (im very proud of myself lol)
We landed back in Fremantle to find that the storms had stayed there, dark grey clouds and rain were lingering... so its a good job we went over to Rottnest i say!
Later that evening we went to a brewery called Little Creatures where we ate the nicest food and drank some good ol' wine, before later on passing out at home with a little bit of sun burn
