Saturday we set off from Perth about 11am... what a day ahead.
Our destination would be: Margaret River allocated about 3hours from Perth - Rockingham.
It took about 8 hours for the numerous site seeing stops along the way:
We walked along a Jetty @ Busselton - Joe managed to burn his head (having a skin head an all ) which he didnt appreciate me trying to rub sun cream into the following day ... apparently it hurt lol It was beautiful though (the Jetty, not Joe's head) with the blue sea, white sands and puuuuurfectly blue sky ahead!
We visited a Park where they had some Ozzy animals... Dingoes, Kangas and Quokkas, were the most favourite... and yes i did compare every animal seen to Linky Loo
We went to Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse, for a bit of fun... we went up to the top in the hope to spy some Whales in the distance... but no Whales and no Wales either, much to my despair
... all in all this took up most of the day so when we got to Margaret River we went out for a quick bite and early night... as Sunday wold hold some Wine Tasting!
On the Sunday we headed out and went to Berry Farm... we tried White and Red... and both were nice lol Then we got adventurous with Mango Desert wine and Sparkling Strawberry... yum!
After this little tipple, we thought the Chocolate Factory would be a good stop... and of course it was, the white chocolate was to die for. We thought about buying a bar... although 10 dollars = 4 pound 50p (as you can see there is no damn pound sign on this keyboard ) so we went for the cheaper bar... but still gorgeous!
We bought a bottle of Rose from Brown Hill and a bottle of White - Special Late Harvest from Lenton Brae! All good eh?!
After all this drinking we thought we should be sensible and go to Bootleg Beer Brewery for more drinking... oh and Colonial Brewery as well, for more bloody beer!
Yes we slept well... and travelled back today :) To top of an Ozzy weekend we had a BBQ for tea!
