MooloolabaIf your not sure on how to say this one… its: "Moo - Loo - La - Bar", you may think that's obvious but me and Joe really struggled with this one and just called it "Moo-Loo" for a day and a half before standing corrected!Anyway, enough of the "speech" lesson, it was pretty much like the other beaches, we had visited up the East Coast, beautiful white sandy beaches and blue clear sea.Even after the trauma of seeing what lurkes beneath the water, the day before, I chanced the sea… it was warm, but refreshing after walking around in a 32 degree, humid heat!I loved cooling down in the sea, you know rather than steeping out of the door in Sheffield eh?! JWe found a statue of Steve Irwin, whilst taking a stroll… It was of Steve and his little ones, all very tragic, but they have really celebrated his life over here and that's really cool.
Tempting… there was a Candy Green Pick up truck for sale, just next to the beach.I have decided I really want one, so Joe is really excited and keeps eyeing them up and pointing them out to me!Perhaps though in little Sheffield, the blonde girl who once drove the smallest car alive: Seat Arosa should maybe think again eh?Ozzy Roads are bigger than UK ones and most of the drivers are bad over here (or so we have noticed J) so I don't reckon id do as much damage here, to what I could back home!
Mooloolaba was beautiful and we did get a little tan, but too be honest we are doing badly on the tan front, to say we have had nearly 6 weeks in Australia.Joe is doing better than me though! I suppose it's a good thing that we are sucking with our tans, in Oz there is a constant reminder to cover up and where factor 30+ all the time.So we are looking after our selves, especially after my loser "Heat Stroke" moment!
