Hey guys,

Wow its been a long time since i last updated sorry, just having too much of a ball!!!

Well last time i left a blog i think i was leaving Franz Josef after a brilliant glacier walk. Well basically we headed down the west coast which was continuiously stunning, with peak top mountain views, bright blue waters and amazing lakes and nature reserves!

Wanaka was a stunning little Town it is know to be the small version on Queenstown, which is basically all party, go go go, adventure to the max. Lucy and i ended up in a quad drom which we had to our selfs, it had a tv we loved it, watch films and chilled most evenings!!!!

We took time out to stroll around the lake which again was stunning with beautiful views looking out to the snow topped mountains.

We also went for hot chocolate along the water front, after treking practically all the way around the lake, on our way back we stumbled across a vinyard, obviously popped in for a free taster, lovely wine, of course pretended we were going to buy a bottle, then did a runner as you do! ha!!

After speding 3 relaxiing nights in Wanaka, we jumped back on our bus with a few peeps we got to know over a pint, heading towards the real business, QUEENSTOWN!!

When we arrived in queenstown we did a little tour around to see what was about, many pubs and bars, a lake and a park! we didnt quite no what to expect, we stolled along the lake which again is beautifull, showing a backdrop of stunning sow topped mountains, which was filmed in Lord of the Rings (lucy loves it) That night we new we were going to see a massive group of people from all our buses, we were really excited and lets say we had one too many vodkas!!!! Met up with our first cool bus, danni and kyle, colin and vicky, then we saw our other bus peeps, Dan, Matt Lucy and Kat!! It was a superb night that neither me or Lucy will forget...............! We ended up having a Furgburger! Oh god guys, these burgers are lush, but the size of a plate, they are massive, so we sat very drunk munching on a huge burger, cant get any better :)

We then had a whole day of sun bathing at the Queenstown Park, a lovely green space overlooking the lake which we enjoyed so much, we did on a regular basis.

Lucy Did the Canyon Swing, This was sper of the moment, she was a little nervous, but so brave, really proud of the stinker!

We climbed a big mountain which we called mount Doom, seriously if you see the photos, you will understand why we stopped practically every 3 mins to cath our breath, was well worth it in the end thought as views from the top were stunning!!!

I cant express how many Awesome views and senery we have come across out here, surely is the most perfect place i have ever been. (meaning New Zealand in general)

We had a few more nights our with Dan and Matt, which were fun, We stayed in Queenstown for 5 nights.

On our last day we headed to Milford Sound, a huge Natural beauty of New Zealand which is ratest the best, all my photos explain why!!!

We took a long bus trip our to the sound, heading through valleys and avoiding avalanches! Pretty amazing to see though! We had to go through a tunnle, which took 5 years to build as it goes right through the mountain, as this way is safer than going over the glacier tops!!!!! Out the other side views were again stunning, weather was totally different and bright blue skys appeared! Amazing.....

Once we arrived we jumped onto the crusier and had a brilliant day out around the bay which was so beautiful!!!! Saw wild Dolphins again!!!!!

This day was really special, both Lucy and i loved every min and enjoyed the sharp strong winds on the boat, while beeing driven under waterfalls!!!!!

We had an Awesome time in Queenstown, and was sad to leave to head towards Christchurch, as we have head many stories, thata there isnt much to do here and its really boring comparing to Queenstown. However we turned up after a 5 hour journey with an open mind! When we arrived we met up with little Mat (another guy from our bus) and ended up in the same room as all 3 guys! We stayed in this night as we were tired from the drive! The guys, being guys went out for a while to check the town out! came back pretty dissapointed lol.

We stayed in christchurch fro 3 nights, this was long enough, as we will be heading back there in a few days.

One day in Christchurch, we went swimming, this was so much fun, it was cheap and very entertaining, we did a few laps and got bored so jumped into the kids pool and had fun in the rapids :) we also had use of the sauna and jacuzi also steam room :) lovely day.

Lucy and I treated ourselfs to a meal out as we havent had one in ages, we went to a bar called Tap bar, this was awesome, we got to cook our own food on hot stones at 400 degrees, it was brilliant :)

On our last night with Dan and Matt we all went out for drinks and played a few games of pool, was a good night :)

We arrived in Kaikoura yesterday and went to the pub with our new load of bus friends, we played pub quiz then just had a laugh dancing to some music and playing pool.

It wasnt a crazy night as we booked our Dolphin Swimming trip in the morning.(today) This morning we woke up and it being lucys bday we had planned something special, to go on a trip our into the sea to swim with wild Dolphins, oh my god guys this was so amazing, i cant even explain how cool thisa was, we were both so shocked at how close they came to us and swam by up, we wont ever forget this, what a birthday present hey!!! check out the photos! I bought Lucy a birthday cake, so we will go have a slice soon, will be a good treat. We went out for a birthday meal too and had a right feast.

We are going to stay here anothet night to have another look around and to chill in the sunshine by the beach or even at our hostel as it has a hammock! so much fun.

We leave here to head back to christchurch on Friday, ready to go to the airport on Monday for our flight to Australia (Melbourne) Were so excited, but quite sad too as NEw Zealand has been great and we wont ever see views and amazing senery like we have here.
