Ashley and I start the day with a run down the riverbank, it's beautiful but the heat and humidity makes it tough but nonetheless we did it! A lovely breakfast including the most amazing roasted muesli with yoghurt, a quick search on google and we decide to head to the Mae Sa Waterfalls. We hire a Songthaew with a driver who will take us the 45 minute journey, wait for us and bring us back for 800 baht (just short of £20).
The waterfalls are part of a national park, ascending over 10 levels with a waterfall on each, this place is stunning. There are few tourists mainly Thai families armed with picnics. The walk between each level is hot and humid but with the payoff a stop and a dip in the water at every level it's well worth it. Level 10 has the deepest plunge pool giving Ashley and Madison what they wanted, the opportunity to jump off rocks into the water! Madison finds the remains of something, we think its the jaw of a monkey, ew, but she insists on removing a tooth as a lee sake, only my girl!
The evening was spent wandering around the night bizarre, buying street food (namely chicken on a stick) and wandering the market. We get a tuk tuk home, they are different here to Bangkok in that there's only room for three in the back so Lee, being obviously much smaller than Ash gets to ride in the front, sat on the battery!
Plans for tomorrow are ziplining in the Forrest, Madison and Lee are very excited about hurling through the trees but not sure me and Ashley feel the same way, lets see!
