Day 3.
Today.... Was a fantastic day. We awoke and had breakfast with my dad (thanks again pa!) then we broke down camp and hit the trails. We travelled hwy 6 to Nakusp via the needles ferry over the arrow lakes where we stopped for a tour of Nakusp.
We dipped our feet (and paws) in the arrow lakes, then we walked down the main street and went in and out of the local shops.
We purchased groceries then we were on our way again.
We continued on hwy 6 enroute to New Denver and we stopped at Slocan Lake and dipped out toes while Kaleigh got S$?! faced (don't asked).
Once in New Denver we turned left and drove towards Kaslo on a beautiful windy road and we saw a moose!!!!! Pictures to follow.
Kaslo was nice, we stopped in at a local arts store and took a drive around.
We then continued towards Ainsworth where we stopped at 4 different places to find the 'perfect' campsite and finally found one just south of Ainsworth.
We had a wholesome dinner of kebobs and salad. Mmmmmm, life is good.
