We return from the jungle...

 

We arrived back to (relative) normality and checked into a much nicer hotel with our new found friends. We all had delicious hot showers and went out for dinner ? Pizza again!

  

The next day we woke up to lots of rain and freezing temperatures ? not very tropical. We had booked to do a canopy tour over the jungle, but when we turned up we were told it had been cancelled due to the storm. Faced with nothing to do all day and the bad weather, we had no choice but to buy banana bread from a crazy Christian granjad and go back to bed to read. As well as banana bread, the crazy granjad gave Charlie some very interesting literature. Yes! Pages of rubbish trying to disprove evolution, filled with atrocious spelling mistakes. It also attacked the Catholic church much to our amusement. Granjad was a middle aged white American who had seemingly come to this dead end jungle town to save the kulaks from eternal damnation! Although in his defence, he did make exceedingly good cakes.

  

That night we all went out for dinner and then played scrabble.
