Hello!

We went to the Agrodome Kiwi farmshow, I wasn't fussed but the cafe was so expensive most people just went to the show, and I managed to fulfill a lifelong ambition of mine to milk a cow. Can definitely tick that off the 'things to do before you die' list :)

Then we went Black Water Rafting, it was amazing, we abseiled down a 35 meter black hole, pretty scary but I am a wimp. It's not rafting like what you would think, you basically climb rocks and waterfalls and go tubing, which just means sitting in a rubber ring, looking at the glowworms. That is pretty cool, kind of like being under the stars but with lots of banter in the cave. Katy Perry had done it 2 weeks prior to us so there was lots of juicy gossip about her demands! That night we all got drunk, there was pool playing and table dancing. The drinks were really cheap. The rafting totalling made the group bond, it was such good fun. Totally geeky fact but gloworms catch their prey by hanging web-like spindles from the cave and they glow to attract insects, but after the larval stage they turn into flies without mouths, so because they can't feed they die after a day or two, but they have huge reproductive systems so for those few days all they do is have sex, such a hard life eh ;) ...
