Cam has got a two week teaching break starting next week and I convinced him to come to Darwin with me! We leave this Saturday in the arvo and get back to Cairns the following Sunday.
I'm really excited - I wanted to visit the last time I was here but didn't have the chance. Darwin is in the Northern Territory and is hot pretty much year round (in the dry season it usually stays in the low 30's). It's also close to both Kakadu and Litchfield National Parks. We're going to rent a campervan and spend a lot of time driving around to do different bushwalks and see some of the aboriginal rock art. I think we're going to spend a couple of days in Jabiru to visit Kakadu and then a few in the town of Katharine which is close to the famous Katharine Gorge. I'll definitely take lots of pictures!
