Lou's Australia
Me and Karen stood on the sydney harbour bridge last night to see sydney skyline looking just like that! After a disastrous whale watching experience on the morning the spectacular view of sydney and Dave our lovely tour guide took you breath away and made up for it majorly!!
It got a bit hair raising just as we walked onto the bridge as there is a bit where you can see straight down and the impact of how high up you are actually hits you!! It was so amazing though i was told there were three rules because i was british! 1) i was not allowed to mention the ashes 2) i was not allowed to mention the rugby world cup and 3) i was not allowed to mention another sporting event where the british may have inadverntently beaten the aussies! Bitter or what!!!
The weather was a bit crap on the morning so we were a bit worried but it cleared up perfectly for the most amazing views of sydney. With storm clouds rolling in on the opera house side and the perfect sunset on the darling habrbour side it was incredible.
Mom and Caz i thought at first it may be a good way for you guys to expell those vertigo and height fears of yours but yeah i really wouldn't!! though there is only one place where you feel the real impact and you do feel incredibly safe!!
The tour guide was amazing though he did loose brownie points for using the phrase "me and my girlfriend"!! but we can't win everyone can we girls!!!
Now i'm finally on my own and have to find something to do with myself so what better opportunity than to go do some more shopping!!!
Love to all
Lou
