Flight to Fiji was OK - except the fact that Auckland airport confiscated my Gel spray which is the only thing that can keep my hair even kind of in order in this heat, they weren't sympathetic even when I said to him "But what if they don't sell this in Fiji??!!!". My own fault I suppose but still - you can imagine the freaking out that went on!!

Arrived in Fiji and was met by e Feejee experience guy with a massive smile, a shell garland and chauffer driven to my hotel for the night! Not bad!

The hotel was really nice but there was a huge tropical storm at night and when I say the frogs came out - you cannot even imagine! I was walking back to my room being battered bt rain and having to slide my feet along the floor to walk to aviod squashing them. All I could think was how you'd have been straight on the plane back home mum - definitely not a place for you!!

My plan for Fiji is to spend 4 days on the main island on Feejee experience and then the rest of the time (including xmas) on the islands for a bit of a chill out...
