Hey there! Long time no blog. Sorry about that. Last week was absolutely nuts. We had school all week and then we left for Venice on Friday morning. last week we had a full week of school. I have learned the alphabet, numbers up to 100, random sayings to use at bars (and their word bar means like food bar :) I have my first test tomorrow so I have to spend the night in studying a bit. Darn it.

So anyways, about my trip to Venice. That place is my favorite in this whole world! I absolutely loved every single moment of it. We took a plane ride for about 100 euros and got there friday at like noon. Jordan found a hotel for about 60 euros a night, which was only 20 a piece. So that was awesome! Well at the time when we booked it, it seemed awesome, not so much when we walked up to the place from the taxi haha. Let's just say it wasnt the Hilton or Marriott. But it was the experience. Actually it was nice because we got to take a WARM shower for once. Our cold water in our apartment in Rome has been cold for like a week, so a warm shower made it feel like a Hilton. We were pleased with that and each took about a 30 min shower. The saying you learn to appreciate the small things really is true!

Friday night after our showers, we found our way to Venice! It took us about 45 minutes extra because we missed the bus stop. But when we got there we walked around shopped all night long. We took many pics and I think I might have to miss a few meals this week to make up for all the money I spent haha.

We stayed out that night and got gelato and went and saw a live band play. We signed our names in the bar, which was pretty cool! We finally made it back to the hotel and woke up early saturday to walk around again. We started at about 10 a.m. and didnt get back until about 11 30 p.m. My feet hurt so bad!! But good news is, is that we found a pizzeria there with pepperoni pizza! it was amazing. I again spent way more money than i needed to. It was very sad to leave Venice on Sunday and I CANNOT wait until I can go back again.

This week in school is very hectic. I have a quiz tomorrow, a paper due wednesday, and a midterm wednesday. So i am going to be pretty busy with studying for the next couple of days. But on the bright side we are going to Florence this weekend! The city is beautiful and is known for their Italian leather. Hopefully I will be able to find something to bring home!

I cant believe it has already been 2 1/2 weeks since I left. That is crazy. It is going by so fast and before you know it I will be home. I miss everyone and hope things are going great with everyone. Let me know of any big news!
