Well, not such a good day today - lots of things went wrong, starting with Dad's mobile number being suddenly disconnected. Still a little breezy this morning, but it dropped off during the day, and it got quite hot - certainly over 30 degrees. We dropped into the shops for a coffee and juice, etc. At the local IGA, we noticed something interesting at the checkout - most shops have lollies to entice one, but not here - they have dried 'pigs ears' for sale at $2.50 each. Mum was going to try one, but asked the butcher about it first - turns out they are dogs treats, not for humans ...

Renee & Eamon came running in this morning to announce that it was RAINING. We have not seen any rain since we left Sydney some 80 days ago, and have been missing it. So the car and the van got a sprinkle of water for about 15 mins, not even enough for the ground to get wet, and it was all over - so sad! Woke up to a beautiful sunny day - still have not seen any rain since we left 80 days ago!! A nice breezy night, and into this morning - we slowly packed up and headed northwest towards Exmouth. We arrived around 1pm, and went straight to the town centre to check it out. Quite a nice place right on the ocean, and a change from the inland areas we've been for the last week or so - rather windy however, still very warm today though.
