Still a little breezy this morning, but it dropped off during the day, and it got quite hot - certainly over 30 degrees. We dropped into the shops for a coffee and juice, etc. At the local IGA, we noticed something interesting at the checkout - most shops have lollies to entice one, but not here - they have dried 'pigs ears' for sale at $2.50 each. Mum was going to try one, but asked the butcher about it first - turns out they are dogs treats, not for humans - lucky she asked first!!
Dad dropped the car off for it to be repaired, and we had some relaxing time back at the van, before heading off for a nice long bike ride, around town, along the beach front (where we came across a rabbit and an emu (not at the same place), and over to the Novotel Ningaloo Resort, where Mum had a cocktail, Dad a beer, and it was soft drinks for Renee & Eamon. It's a small but beautiful resort and would be a great place to stay for a romantic weekend away. Mum & Renee cycled back while Dad & Eamon took the easy way in the car. Oh, and when Dad cycled back to get the car and dropped into the caravan park, there was an emu walking right past our van in the middle of the park!!
Back for a late dip in the pool, and then Eamon took his chair and pillow and watched "The Croods" at the outdoor cinema in the park.
