Our second visit to Kings Park provided us with an informative tour of the city from up high. When Pete announced that the walls we were passing were called 'The Whispering Walls' we didn't believe him and had to try it out. Yes it's right....the walls do whisper....or should we say we whisper and it is passed down a curved wall using some acoustic wizardry.
Afternoon tea was spent in Synergy Park before we headed back to get ready to meet some more of the family tonight.
Tonight took us back to Freo, a quirky little place an hour from Rockingham. On arrival we thought a mid 30s Shez had flown over from England. It was so good to catch up with Simon, Michelle and Tate over some more wood-fired pizza and pasta. We wish we could have stayed longer in Perth to give us more time to get to know Simon and Johnny a little more.
With Matt having withdrawal symptoms from his guitars, he was excited to learn Pete also had a love of his idol so the evening was spent watching one of Matt's favourites, Eric Clapton Unplugged.
