Woke up and packed and left by 9am on the way to Venice. We had ham and cheese croissants for breakfast which were ok but made me feel a bit sick on the bus but still ok. We had 3 hours of drive before the first service stop. We were in Italy after an hour and I had a chicken burger for lunch that was quite weird because he warmed it up in a sandwich press but it just warmed the bun up and the chicken stayed cold. Steve told us what we call pizza and spaghetti bolognaise is not actually it because Italian food is very simple without a whole heaps of extra ingredients we have and the pizza has to be a certain size and cooked a certain amount of tine. We kept driving for a few hours though before arriving in Verona which was where Juliet from romeo and Juliet's balcony is. Was a cute little corner and we stopped there for an hour. Went and looked at some markets and I bought a really pretty nice quill in a box and a postcard and little owl watch keychain. We went back to the bus for a final drive of an hour before reaching our destination across the sea from Venice. we couldn't stay on the actual island of Venice because it is very expensive. I'm so excited to go there tomorrow though - it's quite sad that it's sinking though and future generations probably won't see it. I was a dishy at this stop so went to see what my job was almost as soon as we got in at 7.30. We had spaghetti bolognaise salad and garlic bread for dinner which was good and then went to the bar for wifi but yet again it wasn't working. I swear the net and uploading photos is against me here. Had some drinks though including a skittles bomb which was cointreau dropped in red bull. Was pretty nice. Went to bed by 12 though in preparation for tomorrow breakfast at 7.30.
