Sounds like you're having an amazing time, sorry haven't been in touch laura...shocking that i (in england) cannot access the net when you are able to in Africa, oh the irony! Worryingly, you both seem to have developed far too deep a fondness of gin...
Anyway no idea when you're back, thanks for the birthday message. We'll have to catch up over xmas and you can share all the stories that you're not about to divulge on this public site...
Keep safe xx

Really! Even I do not recommend Diazepam AND Gin! Although I do understand that the stress of losing a mobile phone might make one entertain the notion. Dave and I had an extremely dangerous trip to Norwich when we had to stop in the middle of the English Channel to rescue 2 people on a capsized yacht. Then when we got to the hotel, there was no room for us and we were forced to stay in an apartment with a jacuzzi! The final straw was finding that the hotel manicurist was fully booked! Can you imagine!? Looking forward to your next 'adventure'. Take care, have a wonderful holiday, and a safe trip back.

Hi Laura,
I look forward to reading your latest news. However, every time i'm totally lost as to my comments. I guess i'm always shocked and amazed and yes even for me, lost for words. Apart from the obvious, 'oh my god, come home now'. I'm sure we.ve only heard a snippet of whats really gone on. Have a wonderful last week, keep safe and look forward to seeing you very soon.
Love christine. xx

Girlies!!!!! I miss you both so much! Sounds like you are having a crazy time, Africa is so amazing, i'm looking forward to going back there and properly exploring like you guys!! I can't wait to go out and catch up with you with a few (many) bevvies, i feel tolerance is going to be very low, and also can't wait to have a nice cup of tea! Things are crazy here, we are off on our travels on Wednesday and i have also sent my parents orders down the pone for some yummy 'non-spicy' food when i get back, seriously, you can't buy anything without them hiding some sort of chilli in it, if anyone cooks curry when we get home, please don't give me any i may well vom! I get back on the Sunday before we start so will come back for Monday evening but want to catch up a bit the rentals first. Pav was really sick this wek but thankfully after antibiotics, antispasmodics, loperamide, antiemetics and paracetamol he is nearly back to his usual self. Jess and I went on a trip this weekend to a place called Sri Salam, meant to be gorgeous, it turned out to be basically a hindu pilgrimage, we had no idea waht the prayer rituals were so we kind of made them up... waving at fire etc...so funny! Looking forward to seeing you, love you both heaps, stay safe, mwah xxxxxx
