'Watch out for those dutch guys they sound dodgy....' I assume that it is a compliment ;-)
The Sillars
Hi Laura,
Just back from a week in the sun - well at least the first five days and then thick black cloud for two! What has happened to the world's weather - the best day we have had this summer was when you and your mum and dad came over - haven't sat in the garden since! Great to read your blog - keep enjoying it out there
Matt and Gemma have left the boat in Spain as weather not good enough to sail the Bay of Biscay at the moement - probably bringing the boat back on the back of a lorry, but that's another story!!!
Stay safe and happy. Sarah and crew xx
Trish
Are you sure you've done the right thing? You're missing X Factor!!!
Will Rockett (Popstar & Laura's Boyfriend)
Hello Grumps & Grinder!Thought I would brave the board! Have you actually even gone to Africa... I don't see any photographic evidence!!! I bet your sunning yourselves somewhere in the Mediterranean aren't you! lol. I heard a rumour that ocado don't deliver to Malawi, is that true?! How on earth do you survive??? Can I second Beths point about coping without straighteners - I wouldn't even attempt that if you paid me!!! I fail to believe they don't work over there… have they not invented plug sockets?! It's the weekend :) Have fun with the elephants… speak to you soon!!!
Will
p.s. have you seen how hard these sums are when you want to post a message!?!
Grandad
Hallo guzumbas ,or whatever it is.It sounds as though your fame will last after you hve gone home. A bit like Livingstone and Stanley I presume!
Watch out for those dutch guys they sound dodgy (dont mean it really. Hope you got some nice pics of the waterfalls etc and you must remember your climbing boots next time. Are you doing the lumbar punctures on some sort of production line or what. What are they supposed to be for? ( me I was always ignorant.
Love Grandad (Ems, that is)

Beth, Lovely Cousin Of Laura
hello there laura!
thought i should mention that i would be utterly terrified at the thought of being somewhere forreign(?) with lots of doctor stuff and no straighteners. i salute you.
bit sad cuz have just realised that christmas time-ish dinner will not have you there. which sucks cuz there will not be all.... 13(?) of us.
good luck and have fun.
love form beth x
Mandy!
hola chicas!
sounds like you guys are surviving, glad to hear there are peas, we are yet to discover what happens to lems if she goes without her daily portion. and no reports of psychotic behaviour from loz so she must be coping without makeup and hair straighteners (and wine?!)
thanks for your message, we are in southern honduras, left the north coast on sunday so felix's timing is good for us. we are looking forward to some impressive wind and rain tho!
Take care and keep the blogs coming. Loads of love xx
